Thanks for stopping by and let's go ahead and breakdown my day including the trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So today, I had a short morning walk going for groceries around the neighborhood. Then I was indoors most of the time. It's cold outside...
I watched some youtube, X; then caught some EPL action and also followed up on the trending stories.
My final walk was this evening, the usual sunset 🌄 walk. A nice, walk around the neighborhood, and then back home. It was dark n cold but with a bright full moon....
Now let's get into some of the trending stories.
As usual the blood bath continued in Gaza, with Israeli airstrikes across the strip killing more than twenty Palestinians😿.
In the north, Kamal Adwan hospital on the brink after constant Israeli army attacks🙀.
National security advisor Jake Sullivan is in Cairo Egypt as the push for a Gaza ceasefire carries on, fingers crossed💯.
Elsewhere Jordan trending as regional and western diplomats gathered there to chart a way forward for Syria💯.
US secretary of state Anthony Blinken also present said the US had been in touch with HTS, the group that toppled the Assad regime.
Speaking of Syria, the upbeat mood continued in Damascus, people talking about their hopes and dreams for a new future. With the era of despotism over everyone is looking forward to a new Syria that will rebuild and be strong 💯.
In the other war, fighting has intensified in the eastern part of Ukraine. Russia is advancing fast looking to take over the town of Pokrovsk🙀.
That would be a serious loss to Ukraine if Russia succeed, the town remains a ghost town as most residents have fled due to constant bombardment.
Then Georgia trending as a former footballer appointed as president😹.
The protesters still camped outside parliament called it a bad joke as the said footballer didn't even graduate highschool😹.
They vowed to continue their protest against the earlier sham election and decision to postpone talks to join the EU.
Let's do Asia, where South Korea is trending as parliamentarians voted successfully to impeach the president. 204 were in favour of impeachment while 85 were against.
He has been impeached for trying to impose martial law in the country. Criminal charges may follow🙀.
Finally, in crazy weather, a powerful cyclone 🌀 has hit the french territory of Mayotte. There's been widespread damage but rescue and recovery is ongoing.
Let's hope the situation gets better, fingers crossed🤞. All's well that ends well 💯.
