I am listening to Japanese city pop songs in 1980s. In fact, I don't know how the life of Japan was at that time. I was an elementary school student. All I can see was the games from arcades. I could sometimes hear Japanese songs, but it was impossible for me to actively select them because I was too young. After Youtube was released, I can listen to songs from other countries. So are Japanese city pop songs in 1980s. Although they are not my country's songs, they evoke nostalgia for my childhood. That is the power of the music.
