Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 15/8/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.
If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 15/8/2022.

Here we are the holidaying month of August and it's been indeed good weather for it and so supposedly a happier time after the crippling covid pandemic. But many can't agree because there is still a war going on. It's a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at boarders, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs. As for Steem after the previous fix on Steemit.com I believe not everything was fixed, sites like steemd.com and steemnow.com are not functional. Are these sites in the hands of the SteemitTeam? If anybody as any information on this let me know it the comments to win a upvote from me. It's been annoying to constantly see Hive working perfectly fine on many of these fronts with Steem on the other hand always being taken on and off. Why is this?ā We need to know what we can do to keep such issues to a minimum as this makes Steem lose out on buyers and is a money loss for traders. At one point to get my Steem order completed it was explained that this could only happen when the problem with Steem's liquidity provider was fixed. I think this as something to do with Steem itself and not the exchange?ā I can't remember and so if anybody can confirm and explain this in the comments below you could win a upvote from me. It would be useful if the Steemit Team could warn us of such events or keep us informed on the situation in future, perhaps have someone appointed to give us the feedback as these problems can cause confusion or money loss for both investors and the general value of the Steem coin.
As for crypto Steem took a big fall because of the bitcoin downwave from 60k, this sadly means it also took down with it the value of SBD's. This was expected but it's still mostly holding around that important $3 mark which is great. Seeing all that cheap Steem out there up for grabs as been catching my attention and so I continue to look at it as another situation for opportunity because I'd say if your looking to get more Steem this might still just be the best time for doing so. And that's what I like about Steem it still offers so much opportunity for investors as with other coins you'd need a lot more cash. In one way I wanted things to remain a while longer at the lower end before another bullrun as like this it could offer some opportunities for some little crypto returns. However it's already definitely been going upwards so people are taking up these opportunities quickly which is a shame as the little guys struggle to get their slice of that pie. Still the end intensions of this trading will be to get a bit more Steem. The weather in August was not as hot compared to July until recently as we have been experiencing our 2nd proper heatwave. At night it seems strangely more muggy then during the day, I thought it was just me who felt this way but other people I spoke with also seem to agree. July 31th was the last time it rained, that's if you count under 5 mins of light rain as it actually "raining" But today the downpour everybody wanted finally happened and boy did it come down. As for today I was in work for the afternoon shift as I made my way I strangely saw a colleague who I have never seen around near my area before. Since I was making my way into work and in a rush I just greeted him and continued. When I got in I very much expected to get most of the extra work but was surprised to learn this was not the case for today, I mentioned if the colleague who I saw on my way in had just finished work? Strangely they said no so it was kind of odd I saw him near my area.
Previously before I could even get to work my boss was already ringing me, he told me I would have to work a few more hours. It's not exactly what I wanted to hear as I was still feeling tired from arriving so late from seeing my friends that night and going to sleep so late. Another reason why I didn't feel great was because of that poorly made pizza from the previous day, I will definitely not be going back there. Towards the end of the shift I started to smell burning, initially I didn't think much of it because that's been a normal thing the past few days everywhere. However as I continued to work the smell grew stronger even to the point it started to make me cough slightly. I went to another floor to see if it was the same situation and it was just slightly less, but yet nobody there seemed to care or be bothered about it. Which honestly I find ridiculous as it was getting to a point it could cause a health risk. Luckily this was towards the end of shift and we were just finishing up and leaving, I checked the outside area for smoke but strangely nothing. There was apparently some homeless man who was off he's medication and walked into our site I was told he started to be very abusive to staff. I'm not sure if he actually attacked anybody but police were called in to get him out. Later I overheard staff talking about how now they feel unsafe at work. I find this ridiculous because if they are seriously "only now" thinking about their safety then they are even slower than the credit I give them for as honestly it's been unsafe for years.
I saw one of the new arrivals apparently the other guy is starting next week, but this one at first he reminded me of the guy who robbed me as they both had the same hair style, not a great start but he sure seems to smile a lot. One of the superiors gave me a little voucher as a "thank you" for my work, I honestly rarely get these as I guess I'm just old news now even if I do something good, maybe they just gave it to me this time to be fair to all staff lol. Most staff however seem to love getting these little rewards, I personally find them pointless as they are practically worthless and you usually need to still spend more to actually buy anything with them. I have often seen people being handed these rewards for sometimes the most ridiculous reasons which then makes me question why didn't myself "or others" get rewarded after doing the exact same thing many times over? It's not that I'd actually want them it's just it doesn't make sense or seem fair to all on how they are rewarded. When I left work my colleagues were glad that there was a bit of rain but moments later I started to get worse. I went to do a little shopping first and when I got out it was a downpour. I made my way to some other nearby shops as I wanted to lift some money out and it was insane as people coming out were trapped by the rain and honestly the downpour was so much to rivers started to form and divide the car park. I waiting for around 10 minutes and there was a break so I continued on my way home there was even a road completely flooded that anyone walking there had better have their wellies on. The other night there was some commotion I firstly heard some screaming followed by shouting outside. This is very typical so it get's mostly ignored but I looked out and saw like 3 teens just being loud idiots. Moments later it got a little nosier and I thought nothing much of it, later I looked out again and next thing I know there are 50 teens outside the house! It looked insane to see and frightening it was like a night club but outdoors, luckily from what I could see they made a lot of noise but not much else, they were out there for around 40 minutes. To which I'm shocked or "not" that nobody called the police to move them on. The only explanation I can think for all these people suddenly outside a residential area is that they were kicked out of an illegal rave somewhere and were just hanging around. It was late and this made it difficult to sleep they seriously have no respect still at least there were no incidents that I could see.
When I was last off work I was eating with one of my friends and for a minute I thought we were going to be fighting for our lives only moments later. As we ate we both noticed a man walking in our direction wearing a balaclava, I thought he was going to walk nearby but past us, but my friend was the one who noticed he was actually heading straight towards us. My friend was unfortunately correct as he walked right up right to our table and started to ask us we any of us smoked, it was at this moment I thought we were going to get robbed or attacked which is why I was getting ready to get hold of the glass bottle on our table and use it against him. Luckily it seemed that for whatever reason he was just interested on whether or not we smoked, which my friend later explained to me that this guy was probably going to try and sell us something illegal if we said yes to smoking. It seems that may of been the case but honestly it's so frustrating that you can't go anywhere around here without random people coming up to you wearing clothing that usually indicates your about to get robbed or stabbed. I mean seriously why do some people think it's ok to walk about like bank robbers and murderers yet the police seem to somehow have difficulty identifying when someone is about to do something. I mean if anybody is walking around like that people should be reporting them as suspicious behaviour as soon as they set foot outside their house before someone gets hurt.
