Founder of the Amar Bangla Blog Community, @rme has announced a new simple and quick sign-up service for new Steemit users.
Amar Bangla Blog is also offering a free delegation service, administered by @rex-sumon, to provide new users with 100 SP so they have sufficient Resource Credits to make enough comments to fully participate in the community...

Steemit is inviting applications from anyone who would like to become a Community Curator for October.

3. Abuse Watcher Guidelines
The recently revamped @abuse-watcher account has announced the guidelines it will be using in its work to curb abuse on the platform.
Plagiarism, copyright infringement, spamming and reward farming will be its primary targets.
The @abuse-watcher team plan to give warnings and try to educate errant users first before taking more deterrent action...
4. Burning STEEM
@remlaps continues to track the impact of Steemit's burnsteem25 campaign encouraging people to set a 25% beneficiary to @null to reduce the amount of STEEM, which potentially will increase its value.
The total burnt since June has now exceeded 100K SP. A new daily record of 745 SP burnt was achieved on 21 September.
This week there has been a significant drop of about 1% in liquid STEEM as a percentage of current supply and of virtual supply. This is mostly as a result of the 5M powerup from @hungry-griffin...
5. World Smile Nigeria Solar Project
Because of the rising costs of the solar equipment the World Smile International Team, led by @irawandedy, together with the Nigerian Project Leader, @ubongudofot have decided to use the 1200 STEEM raised so far to place a deposit with the supplier to fix the current price of 2000 STEEM.
@ubongudofot will now be doubling his efforts to raise the remaining 800 STEEM as soon as possible to implement this second phase of the solar PV installation in Uyo...
