Crisis Averted?

Hi Friends,

The headlines are claiming crisis has been averted with the debt ceiling raised once again:

Of course, this is a temporary reprieve and just medicine for a bigger problem. The United States does not have a balanced budget, the national debt continues to climb, Social Security is underfunded and will run out of money, people want more handouts (such as student loan forgiveness), the rich are heavily taxed while more than half the people pay no income tax, etc.

I am heavily exposed to the stock market as I am not a doomsdayer, but always good to have gold, silver and crypto around for a myriad of reasons.
