Sustainability works differently.

Today we continue here with two pairs of shoes.
These are safety shoes with steel toecaps which are used for heavy work.

I came across them while clearing out and both pairs are actually brand new.
They have been sitting unused for about 20 years in their original boxes and still look great.

Unfortunately, when I look at them closely, I can see that the soles are completely disintegrating.
Somehow it is strange that a self-destructing sole has been installed.
