Good afternoon dear friends, hope you guys enjoyed your weekend perfectly well, I'm trusting God that you are all doing great in the amazing platform , I'm happy to be dropping down my diary game of Sunday 03/07/2022.
Dear Diary,
morning period 🌅
If you read this my diary game of 02/07/2022, you will realize I was traveling to Yde with the rest of my team members to have a friendly encounter between M•Y•O Of Yaounde Veteran Club. This therefore means that we traveled over night and arrived Yaounde at exactly 4am in the morning. Since it was a bus we hired, it didn't stop us at the bus station, so it instead stop us at Montee Jouvance Bar where our opponents where already seated drinking and waiting for us
Emmidiately we arrived, our opponents gave us a very warm welcome 🤗, we didn't even go to our hotel yet since we had already arrange for hotel there. We instead join our opponents in drinking at the Montee Jouvance Bar. It was full of jubilation and fun as we all had alot of discussions since it had been long we saw our selves since we live in different towns.
We enjoyed until breaking morning when places where already bright, we then left to our hotel which is located not far away from where we were drinking and catching fun, it is just behind Lyceé Bilingue D'etoug-Ebe at hotel de la reine. It is a very nice hotel which is well equip and up to standard
We then rested just for an hour then got up and then freshen up. So I took my bath and Changed my clothes. After that, we all went to Jet7 Lounge restaurant and snack bar so that we could have our breakfast. We walked by foot to the restaurant since it's not far away from our hotel
on our way to the restaurantWe went there and took breakfast, since we where to have a match a football match in the afternoon, we took something light which was bread 🥪 and tea ☕. Unfortunately, I forgot to snap it since my phone was low
After having breakfast, we left back to our hotel then discuss for a sometime before taking off to the field
Afternoon 🌞 period
In the afternoon at about, 1pm, we boarded so many bikes to the field since the football encounter was to begin at exactly 2pm. The field is City Bilingual Academy school field which is a newly created school located just opposite the Mevick Bilingual Grammar school.
We arrived the field when it was already populated and electrified with speakers and microphone since it wasn't going to be an easy encounter even though it was just a friendly encounter. We then changed into our new team jersey then started warming up as we where doing little exercise to free up out tight muscles
me and my team membersEmmidiately after the warmup, we then drew out line up and selected the starting 11. After that we then took group photos
Below is the starting 11 which I was included and played 6 which is defensive midfield

The match started at exactly 2pm and behold, the first 30mins, our opponents where already leading us 3:0. This was just as a result of minor errors because we played very well more than our opponents and we where leading ball possession 70% : 30%. The 2nd half started and they still scores us again and was now leading us 4:0. This was too much to bare🤦♂️🤦♂️. However, we managed to score them 3 goals all through indirect free kick out of the box. The match finally ended 4:3 as we lost the game though with a brilliant performance.
We where extremely very angry because it was really bad as we lived all the way from Bamenda to Yaounde just to lost a football game which is really painful. However, we had to take the scores as it came. Below is a Video of the highlights of the most important actions and all the goals in the Encounter. The worst thing is that we lost 2 straight penalties which is what angered us the most.

Evening 🌆 Period
We left back to our hotels emmidiately and took our baths, rested for sometime before we left back to Jet7 Lounge restaurant and snack bar since that is the place we where to hold a gala night party at.
At the snack bar, everyone finally came and we began our party at about 8pm, we started by eating very heavy corn fufu and vegetables then with Khati-Khati. After eating we went into discussions as we talked on alot of things especially concerning the encounter we earlier had. During the discussions , prices where awarded starting with the best goal keeper which was our opponent goal keeper, then the best player which was was my friend who scored 2 free kicks and the highest highest goal scorer which was our opponent 9-shirt as he scored all their 4 goals.
Emmidiately after price distribution of awards, went into seriouse drinking and dancing
We enjoyed our selves and most of us where already very tired when it was 1am, we left others at the night club and went and slept since the other people where still very much in spirit with the gala night celebration
