Today I am going to tell you about a new upcoming technology with you guys.

Wifi is now very common in our homes and also in today's world we cannot live without Internet. Mobile tower signal is weak in highly residential area. So, we are are upgraded to home WiFi. But in wifi there are some blind spot in our home there we did not receive the wifi signal properly. Coming to the 5G signal. 5G Tower needs to be installed every where to receive a good coverage of 5G signal it also cost more and it may take more years to place 5G towers in all areas in a large country. So the alternative ways is to upgrading to a new technology called LiFi.

What is LiFi?
LiFi technology is a Wireless Technology that solves the problem faced by the Cellular Tower and the Wifi. Lifi can be a faster technology that trasmit at multiple gigabits speed, no interference occurs, more secure than the older radio frequency technology used in Wifi and Cellular Towers.
Lifi technology uses light than the older radio frequency technology to transmit data at a faster level. Most of the global companies are adopting to the new Lifi Technology to get higher internet speed.

It is a visible Light Communication with also transmitting high speed Internet wirelessly. This LiFi technology uses a LED light bulb emit the pulses of light that are undetectable to the naked human eye . In the light pulse the data is transmited and received to the devices. Then, the receivers in the device collect information and interpret to the transmitted data. This is much faster rate – millions of times a second. LiFi transmission speeds can be above 100 Gbps, 10 to 14 times faster than WiGig, the world’s fastest WiFi.

Only disadvantages in LiFi is the covering distance, it is lesser than WiFi.
LiFi is not the replacement of the current WiFi technology anytime soon. Instead, it is an incredible companion for the current WiFi technology.
