Lagos State is a very large city with increase population as a result things are expensive in Lagos State but there are some rural markets where you can get things at a cheaper rate and one of those places is Otto market.

Otto market is located Oloto St, Adekunle mainland in Lagos State, this market is a very large market and all kinds of foodstuffs and household items are sold there.

People visit this market because things are affordable in this market, let's see somethings which you can find in this market.

People visit Otto market to buy dry fish for resell and this makes it to be quite expensive in our local shops around our area, but when I visit Otto market I buy those fish cheaper.

Dry Fish is a must do foodstuff for both stew and soup, everyone needs this dry fish for making a delicious meal.

I have a customer called "Baba" he's a northerner and he sells dry fish in an affordable price.

Mangala dry fish

This fish is sold for 2500 naira equivalent to 21steem per shade and it consist of 5 pieces each and in my area the fish will be sold for 3500 naira which is equivalent to 29.5 steem per shade, you can see that going to Otto market to buy this fish is much better.

Round dry fish (ebe iyi)

This black dry fish is sold for 350 naira equivalent to 3steem per one, this fish will be sold for 500 naira in the local shops in my area.

This is a stockfish seller who sells stockfish of different types, I bought stockfish that amounted to 1500 naira equivalent to 14 steem.

All kinds of vegetables are sold in Otto market and it is quite affordable, I have a customer called Uju who is from Anambra state and she sells pumpkin vegetables for a living.
She sells in bunch and also is little shades, a bunch of pumpkin leaf costs 700 naira equivalent to 6 steem and it is far more better than buying it around my area.

We have seen the advantages of visiting Otto market but it's not all good there are still some disadvantages of visiting Otto market.

	Otto market is never friendly during rainy season, the market will be so missed up and this makes me to find it difficult to get all I want.
	Otto market is always crowded because people from different part of Lagos visits to buy things at cheaper rate as a result one have to struggle for packing space if you want to go with your private car and you have to be careful not to loss your bags to hoodlums.
	Everytime am going to Otto market I have to withdraw money from my area because it always very difficult to get cash at Otto market because there few ATM machines and there are many who wants to withdraw money, this can so frustrating.
