#burnsteem25 - Cross-Sector Mini Workshop as an Effort to Realize Public Health

The UPTD of the Meurah Mulia Health Center carries out an annual routine in the form of a Cross-Sector Mini Workshop at the Meurah Mulia District Meeting Hall today, Tuesday 5 July 2022.

The purpose of the implementation of this activity is to increase the integration and synergy between the puskesmas as the Community Health Service Center in Meurah Mulia District with a population of 20,200 people per 2022.

This is the second mini-workshop this year to map health issues in the working area of ​​the UPTD Puskesmas Meurah Mulia, North Aceh Regency. It is hoped that by holding a program like this, sectoral consisting of sub-district elements (Camat, Koramil, Polsek, Educational Institutions and other public services), representatives from the village (Village Head, Village Leaders and women representatives) can intensely voice the problems and obstacles that occur. so far.

In his speech, the District Secretary of Meurah Mulia Amiruddin explained the importance of implementing a Cross-sector Mini Workshop as a representation of health problems in the village in particular and the Meurah Mulia sub-district in general. so far it has been carried out by every program holder at the Meurah Mulia Health Center.

Furthermore, the Head of UPTD Puskesmas Meurah Mulia, North Aceh Regency, Nurzahri, SKM in his presentation emphasized the importance of public awareness of the importance of health. "During the Covid-19 pandemic, all health programs cannot be carried out effectively, thereby reducing the achievements of the health program." Through this workshop, he hopes that in the momentum of this workshop, the existing health problems can be mapped, both in question and answer sessions and group discussions.

Another session dr. Desi Maulina as the Person in Charge of Individual Health Efforts at UPTD Puskesmas Meurah Mulia in her presentation said that the utilization of puskesmas services both inside and outside the building should be optimized by the community considering that the government has allocated a lot of budget for the implementation of health programs.

Nowadays people are apathetic towards health services at the puskesmas, this is indicated by the high number of requests for patient referrals to hospitals for outpatient treatment. Whereas basic health services can be obtained from the puskesmas, except for specialist treatment.
Then dr. Desi Maulina re-emphasized the importance of community participation in participating in every program carried out, such as health education which is currently carried out with a meeting system at the village meeting hall, or responsive to door to door visits by health workers.
