We delayed today’s Mountain hike………Silvertop has chores to finish!😅
Our very nice frost free three door refrigerator needed defrosting……🤔
“I’ll tell Jan we are hiking at 3:15 Silvertop “🥰
With the defrosting finished, we headed out the door to meet up with Jan!☺️
We started up our road, and we were met by our neighbor from the tiny house.
“Silvertop I have some very sad news!”
“Joan our neighbor, was in town walking down the sidewalk and collapsed!”
Joan is our neighbor that built the Yurt, and the retired librarian that put up this “Little free Library”!
That quick…..she was gone………..
Everyone in the neighborhood was stunned at her untimely death!😮
Rest in peace Joan!❤️

As we continued hiking up Sumas Mountain, our youngest was ice fishing with our “Grand-dog” Phoenix on the Eastern side of the Cascade Mountains!🥰
He texted Mom and Dad………….
“Negative seven degrees F this morning on this side of the Mountains Dad!”🥶
They just returned from three weeks in Hungary, then he spend three days working 12 hour shifts driving a snowplow truck!😅
You would think they would want to chill out at home for a while Lol!🤣
He takes after Dad!😇
“ it’s dark out now, and the snow is flying Dad, we better get going!”
“Just be careful driving back home son, and text us when you get home tonight!”
Family is everything!”🥰
