Objects May Appear Closer........... NW Cascade Wanderings

…….than they are! Ever wonder, really, why they made side rear view mirrors that way? I mean, wouldn’t you think they’d want actual scale rather than leaving it to chance, on the driver’s perception?

Ah well, in this instance, as you can see, wouldn’t it be cool to really be able to reach out and be in that scene in the side rear view mirror?

@silvertop spent late morning into early afternoon take off the Suzuki’s stiletto heels (aka studded snow tires) and putting her flats (regular street tires) on. In the fall, it’s always odd at first with the studs and then in the spring, I’m so used to the studs, it feels a bit odd to not have them.

When the ‘shoes’ were done, we needed to run an Amazon return to the UPS store in Bellingham, so off we set!

So while ‘Zuki was getting her regular tire legs, we decided to also hit Walmart and Winco. Of course, I had to head to the garden center to see what’s growing and to get some dirt for my container herb garden I’m working on. Here’s some beauties I found.

On the drive home…….

A lovely day overall spent with my best friend!

Tomorrow finds us going to church. We are letting go a bit of the sound system and letting someone else handle it. We’ll be there early enough if there are any problems, and will help if there are, but letting someone else be responsible.
