Let's be honest, it can be really frustrating listening to motivational speakers. When I hear them talk sometimes, I wonder if they feel we are omnipotent. Without a doubt, it's nice to feel motivated to do something great, but it's high time motivational speakers learn that people aren't unlimited. Many people have taken words of motivational speakers hook, line and sinker and we have seen how frustrated they felt when their efforts backfire.

The truth is that we all have areas that we are weak, and areas that we have strength in. Most times, after listening to motivations, instead of focusing on the areas of our strength and maximizing it, we completely leave it and keep struggling to become something from our weaknesses, so that we can have a story similar to that of our motivational speaker. This has become a common trend, every one now wants to be associated to the trenches.

If you focus more on your weak side, you can live your whole life struggling without achieving anything of value. However, as you focus and strengthen your areas of strength further, you will see how easy it is to succeed. Imagine how easy it is to swim in the water. The reason is that they are designed only for aquatic life. You would have no incentive to gift a fish to make it perfect in flight, like a bird. Likewise, there is no reason for a bird to improve its ability to swim.

People do well in the area of their strength. Look at Ronaldo and Messi, and the results they have achieved in football. Just imagine how they would have been if they tried perfecting let's say their teaching skills. You see, they shine because this is where their skills will be used for real.

When you step away from your strengths and focus on your weaknesses, you accept stress, in the same way a fish would be stressed if it was taken out of the water. The truth is that you will do better if you do what you can. Just because someone does something easily doesn't mean you can do that specific thing.

Try not to compare your weaknesses with the strengths of others, this will make you weaker. When they show you what they can and can't do, show them what you can and can't do. Obviously, there's always something you're good at in your area of strength, and you should foster more in that.

Life is designed to simplify it, but it is humans who complicate it by putting undue pressure on themselves and forcing themselves to go beyond their means. The truth is that if you find yourself under natural pressure when you try to do something, don't worry, you can work outside your strengths.

You must not struggle to succeed. You can succeed by doing the things you love, the area of your strength. The most important thing you should focus on is that you are working on the area of your strength. When you keep doing this, you will realize how simple life is.

Thank You.
