It's another unforgettable day, with a new life experience as well. Let me begin the story this way.

On the poyaday, Harith had seen a Facebook post in a group from a pregnant girl who was highly suffering from financial issues. The post had a number of aggressive comments as the profile looks a little bit inactive. He had shared this screenshot to me on Whatsapp, "මේකට නම් හොයාගෙන හරි යන්න ඕන. ගිහින් මාසෙකටවත් බඩු අරන් දෙමු. "

We both believe that if we get a feeling of giving, we must not drop that feeling. I totally agreed with his ideas. But my first question was, "Is this real?"

We started a small background check. First we contacted the lady via facebook. She gave us the phone number of the Grama Niladhari of the area and her address. A friend from Piliyandala helped us to verify her location and then we contacted Grama Niladhari to further verify.

Grama Niladhari asked us to come on Saturday to his office and promised us to cordinate the meet.

Mr. Tharindu Dhanapala

After confirming the situation is real we planned how the event should be. I took approval to obtain money from @sl-charity and all agreed without hesitaion. On the Saturday morning we traveled towards piliyandala and GS help us to find the location to his office.

After introducing ourselves to GS we gave a call to the girl who shared the post. She lived about 150m away from the office and she came to the office per our request. She seems in 20s and came with her mothering law. Her husband has wheez in a critical condition and he is not able to work with dust and all. But he still doing few works as he has to take care of the family. They seems suffering a lot due to lack of food.

To Be Continued.....
