Introduction

Hello my Crypto Gears…

We have finished week 7 which was full of surprises and very good posts. It is sad to know that we are almost at the end.

This time a total of 80 people joined under the Tag #allbert-s4week7 to participate in this class that was dedicated to learn even more about this wonderful ecosystem that represents the 3rd generation of Blockchains... The Polkadot Ecosystem.

This Class which I titled: "Polkadot ecosystem, the Ethereum's Contender.", tried precisely to discover this new world and especially the great novelty: The Parachains, which make this environment completely unique, thus allowing interoperability between different Blockchains.

As an assignment, I asked all students to choose a project or platform associated with Polkadot and make a comprehensive and detailed Post in which I would evaluate the originality but also had to meet certain minimum requirements:

1- Explain in your own words why you chose it and why do you think it is relevant to the world?

2- Description of the project and its platform. (Screenshots needed).

3- Functionalities and real-life applications. (Screenshots needed).

4- Future development and associated projects. (Screenshots needed).

5- Make a technical analysis of the token of the selected platform, then through your validated exchange account make the purchase of the token (15 USD as a minimum). Screenshots and an explanation of the procedure are required.

General observations:

Compared to last week we had a total of 36 fewer entries than last week, but I will tell you that overall the results were much better.

Of all the posts processed the vast majority were placed in the (Average) line which is in line with last week's results. However in terms of the average course grade we had a significant improvement.

The average grade was 7 points exactly, which is an improvement of 0.2 points over last week. For this reason I must congratulate you. In fact I have one more interesting tidbit of information.

If we take into account the ratings of the previous weeks:

WeekGrade
17.2
27.15
36.8
47.0
Average7.03

We will note that the course average this season was 7.03, which represents an improvement compared to last season's overall average of 6.61.

I have seen throughout this season how many of you have grown in many different areas, which makes me very happy and above all teaches me that Crypto Academy has been a life-changing success for many.

Finally we had just 1 invalid entry and only 1 case of plagiarism. I have been pleased to see that the cases have decreased in my class. Overall I have found that the vast majority of students have taken their role as students and as ambassadors of the Proof-of-Brain very seriously and responsibly.

Still, again I remind you that Plagiarism of any kind will be severely dealt with within the Academy.

Regarding the content of the publications, the result was varied, there were some very good posts which employed a lot of originality and creativity.

There were also some that were only content with the most basic information. As a teacher I wanted to leave it to the imagination of each one because I needed to evaluate something important that traders should have: the ability to differentiate between important and unimportant information.

As Crypto traders every day we will be bombarded by hundreds and hundreds of information and data about dozens of cryptocurrencies. That is why we must know when a piece of information is important and when it is not, because otherwise we will never be able to focus on the projects that really need our attention.

For this reason I can tell you that the best grades were not necessarily those who placed the most information in their work, but those who knew how to grade what information or data was really relevant and worth paying attention to.

Suggestions

I want to close this week by returning to the same recommendation from last week. I have noticed with concern that several students are not reading the assignments correctly. For example:

If I ask to do a technical analysis, they must do a technical analysis... if I ask for a screenshot, they must post a screenshot.

On many occasions several students lost valuable points just because they did not follow the rules of the questions. I don't know how to justify this behavior, only as lack of attention in the reading.

As a last suggestion and recommendation I must point out that it would be good to review the concept of technical analysis, which generated several misunderstandings in question 5. Several students confused technical analysis with fundamental analysis.

Remember that fundamental analysis is what we do when we study the platform or the project in detail, its characteristics, its creators, its white paper, its roadmap, etc. If time permits in the not too distant future I would like to give a class on my approach to fundamental analysis.

On the other hand, technical analysis needs the study and observation of the price chart... if there is no price chart, technical analysis would be incomplete, since through it we establish liquidity levels, order blocks, support and resistance levels, patterns, structures, trend lines, etc.

For those of you who have been with me since the beginning, you know the importance I give to technical analysis... it is my favorite. (But not necessarily the best in all cases).

Finally, I want to thank all those who kindly joined the #club5050 Initiative and selflessly contribute to the growth of Steemit. I am sure that very soon we will harvest the result of our planting.

TOP GEAR 3

I must admit that this week we put them all to the test, and the level of demand was higher than the rest of the season, for that reason the three selected this week should feel doubly proud, since their work represents the pinnacle of the achievements of this entire class.
