Hello everyone,
Hopefully we are always in good health. On this occasion I want to take part in a contest held by @sahar78 about the 25th week of the General Knowledge Contest Commemoration
Here are my results
✅Lions are present in which continent mostly
They are widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa, from grasslands to savanna forests that stretch across countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, and Uganda. Lions were once also found in many parts of Asia. However, their populations have declined drastically due to poaching, habitat changes, and conflict with humans.
✅Elephants are in which continent mostly
And these two continents are the residence of 2 different species of today elephants,
African elephants These belong to two species: the African savanna elephant as well as the African forest elephant.
Over half the land area of Africa, savanna elephants inhabit grassland and savannas (open forest) in eastern and southern Africa, while forest elephants live in tropical forests from west to central Africa.
ASIAN ELEPHANTS–SOUTH ASIA HOME TO SOUTHEAST ASIAN ELEPHANTS They are smaller than African elephants, inhabit forest and lowland areas but tend to live near human habitation. Various natural habitats that are tailored to the environment. Sadly, however, African and Asian elephants are under threat from poaching, climate change and habitat loss. There are various conservation efforts worldwide to protect these species.
✅Most favorite food for lion and elephant
Lions are actual meat eaters; they depend on flesh for sustenance.
The first reason lions are called kings of the jungle is simply that they are at the top of their food chain. Antelopes, zebras and buffaloes are among lions' favourite food, since their size allows the election of bigger animals.
Elephants are herbivores and they get their energy by consuming a variety of plants. For elephants leaves, twigs, bark, fruits grass and roots are a delight. that will go to any length in scouring forest and grassland for a meal. Their long and strong trunks are also used to go after leaves on tall trees or strip bark. Elephants also love fruits like bananas, mangoes and papayas.
That's my story this time, thank you for reading. I would like to invite my friends
