The “Gabriella Kids First Research Act” funding reauthorization passed in the House months ago. It is currently awaiting passage in the Senate.

The only reason this has not passed in the Senate is because Chuck Schumer is playing political games. If Schumer cared more about funding pediatric cancer research than in generating outrage for a news-cycle, he would have brought the bill up for a vote already.

Democrats, pass the damned bill.
