ASSALAMUALAIKUM

Hi steemian friends

How are you all?
Preparing the land for planting cayenne pepper, abayomi variety, in the morning around 09:00 I was already in the chili land that I had prepared since a month ago and this is a long time for the process of soil processing and making precise beds and also covering with plastic mulch

In this planting, I followed the advice of agriculture and quoted from various sources so that I would not fail again in farming chili, what can I do to achieve success, let me discuss from the beginning of land processing

This is a former land for planting curly red chili, after I removed all the old abe stems, I let the land grow grass for a month, then I eradicated it with grass control herbicide, then I hoed the beds again and sprinkled dolomite lime and then I left it for 10 days

After it rained and the soil was wet, I sprinkled NPK Phonska fertilizer and SP 36 fertilizer, then I covered this fertilizer with soil and then I tidied up this bed about two weeks later I watered this bed by using tamed microorganisms that function to fertilize the soil and make the soil loose

One day later I covered this bed using mulch plastic which is recommended for horticultural farmers after finishing covering it with mulch for about 15 days now I will make holes in this mulch plastic as planting holes

chili land

First of all I lit a fire and burned coconut shells as a coal medium that I would use to heat the mulch perforator can, while waiting for the coconut shell to burn I made a mulch perforator tool because the tool yesterday was broken

making a hole punching tool

I assembled it from my motor oil can using an iron grip and tied it with wire then I made holes in the can so that there was air ventilation, after finishing then I put the coals from burning the shell into the can and waited a while for the can to be really hot then I made holes in the mulch plastic one by one

plastic perforation process

In this hole I always add coals so that the can stays hot, the distance between planting holes is 50 centimeters and I made a zigzag process of making holes in the mulch plastic, it took almost three hours, this obstacle occurred because the soil conditions were moist so the plastic evaporated, extinguishing the heat of the can containing the embers

It's finished

After working hard and diligently, finally the mulch plastic holes were finished, then I immediately rested and took shelter from the heat of the sun, on target I will plant cbe here in about 10 days.

Hopefully this trick I will not fail again, chili can grow well and be free from pests and get lots of results and expensive prices.
