Hello friends, welcome to my blog for the day. I am still your regular blogger here but today I will be giving us something quite different, something I have long ago forgotten... It's my pleasure to bring you My Town in Ten pics.
I decided to get us some important places on my way to the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri Imo state as I journey to pick up my little Sis. I hope these pictures and locations give us the required memories we anticipate therein.
This is the major entrance and gateway to the Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport in Owerri Imo state. Where this signpost is mounted is known as Umu owa in Ngor-okpala LGA of Imo state. This area hosts a military point which also serves as means of backup and checkpoint to this airport facility.
The Fruit market is located along the airport road and not far from the airport junction. This is a more likely spot that sees the host of some of the airport commuters. Though the prices are on the high side given the caliber of persons that patronizes them, the products are sizable and fresh.
This is one of the commonly known Local Cargo within the South-Eastern part of the region that places a major role on its hosts the people of Imo and extension Abia and other neighboring states sometimes. It happens to be one of the oldest in the region too aside from the Akanu Ibiam Int'l Airport Enugu.
Tonimas Oil and Gas is one of the known names in the Oil and Gas sector in Abia state. They are majorly into the sale and distribution of Oil and Gas products via its Filling Stations and this industrial company is captured. Their Oil especially the heavy-duty oils is one of the most commonly used in the territory.
GG Gas Station is one of the modern gas stations located at 277 Aba-Owerri road Aba Abia state. Not only that they are proficient in its daily activities and services but have remained consistent in the sale of all of its products in the station. One may be sure of the originality of all contents within its confers.
I would categorically say that this is one of the oldest brands of Fast Food Restaurants in the city with a taste of consistency, reliability, and availability in all of its services. This is one of the many branches in the city and pan Nigeria at large. It is a national brand known for its exclusivity and taste of quality in its meals.
This University happens to be the only Privately owned university in the town. Though there are other privately owned schools they are colleges and polytechnics. It has continued to bridge the gap observed in government-owned institutions. Just as seen from the captured image, it is located at 158 Aba -Owerri road Aba Abia state.
Chicken Republic Aba is one of the city's fastest-growing fast food restaurants. In less than two years of existence in the city, chicken Republic Aba has over three branches/outlets purely for its business activities which invariably shows a rapid expansion and growth in its services.
There are fleets of gas stations within the stretch of this road due to the presence of traffic movement. Bonimas is another major landmark located at 85 Aba-Owerri roads in Aba Abia state with major dealings on Oil and Gas products.
Chab Gas Station + Triple Building Structure
Just like every other gas station, the Chab Gas Station located at 117 Aba-Owerri Road is one of the most commonly used stations opened for commuters within the umuatako axis. We can also observe the presence of an identical three-structural building in the same location. This is a major landmark located on the same axis as the Chab Gas Station. This identical edifice is owned by the owners of Tonimas Oil and Gas Station.
