Since I was a child my mother taught me that it is important to follow few simple rules to keep the teeth healthy as long as possible. Because even though in our children’s age we loose our so called “milk teeth” and receive permanent but after that there will not be any more new teeth grown again.
What we needed to do was:
The other thing that our mother made sure that we do is brushing our teeth once in the evening before going to bed and one more time in the morning after the breakfast before going to school.
I know sometimes we forgot to do that when we were too tired and went to bed early.
Since then I have my rules that became almost my habit. If we start from morning then after my cup of coffee or tea, then I brush my teeth, because I between then and my lunch it could take hours, or if I work and having surgeries then it could take many hours, that is why it is good to have protection for my teeth.
In the evening I use my teeth floss for the spaces between teeth. I recall that in the past if I did not do that I noticed that my gums were inflamed and were swollen and that then caused pain for few days. Since then I use floss even if there is nothing obstructing the space between teeth it is just a precaution. After using floss I brush my teeth. On some occasion I also use Listerine to rinse my mouth. That usually gives a good protection for the teeth and gums for 24 hours.
Over here in UK we have dental check every year, where it will be inspected if there is anything needs to be done. I usually attend the check up regular and still remember how my mother told me to look after my teeth.
I hope you have found interesting information for you and I would like to invite for this contest following users @vickyson, @lusciouslucy, @mole1
