Schön war's - heiß und staubtrocken. Hat heute kaum gestört - haben einen geruhsamen Ausflug zum Pferdi am neuen Standort gemacht. Dem geht's prima - noch hat er sein eigenes (Groß-)reich, bevor er in ein paar Tagen endgültig in die Herde eingegliedert wird. Bis dahin können sich die Jungs und Mädels noch ausgiebig beschnuppern - sollte keine größeren Probleme geben. Ein kurzer Erkundungsspaziergang durch die nähere Umgebung verspricht abwechslungsreiche Ausritte; Wald und Feld warten quasi nur auf uns ;-))
Zu Hause gab es Schach auf dem Dach: kundiges Publikum hat die Partie gespannt begleitet. Als meine (entfernten) Verwandten hätten mich die Krähen gerne mehr unterstützen können; auf mich alleine gestellt mußte ich einfach - wie so oft - unterliegen ;-))

It was nice - hot and dry as dust. It didn't bother us much today - we took a relaxing trip to the horse at the new location. He's doing great - he still has his own (large) space before he is finally integrated into the herd in a few days. Until then, the boys and girls can get to know each other well - there shouldn't be any major problems. A short walk through the surrounding area promises varied rides; forest and field are just waiting for us ;-))
At home we played chess on the roof: a knowledgeable audience followed the game with great interest. As my (distant) relatives, the crows could have supported me more; left to my own devices, I simply had to lose - as so often ;-))
