Sunday, December 1st we had a slow start.
The keys arrived late and we weren't the only SCs without a one. After checking the SR accounts we assumed the reason was steemcurator04. This account was after hours still not back at VP100. Did no one tell those curators that the account should be handed over with 100% or close to 100? We waited, continued our lives till the key arrived, did a few votes and went to bed. On Monday we would start early (meaning a few hours later at night).
This week we noticed many we voted for in September disappeared. The reason can't be the season. We hope those Steemians will return and see how great it can be to be part of Steemit if they actively search for the right people to interact with.
On our search for comments, another shock waited for us. The number of good comments and engagement dropped. Can we change it after all the effort we made, the comments we left behind and #wewrite? We are not sure but have good hope although not the illusion that the average Steemian will invest in commenting. The past months showed that curators do not care about stimulating commenting which is understandable. You can't promote what you don't do yourself.
December is the month many feel lonely and have no one else other than a platform, Steemit to turn to, a screen to stare at. We truly hope that more will comment and leave some encouraging words behind. It won't hurt to talk to a stranger. We continue our search.

Review | Seemingly on a roll, ady-was-here came up with this music-filled article. He expresses his joy with a series of yOutube links to his favorite songs. It's a lot of fun, of course. Especially since Christmas is around the corner. Spread the joy. |

Review | bahrol commented on a comment contest post in the Steeem For Betterlife community. The contest's theme was “Hibernation”, and bahrol had an interesting take on the word, especially since he also reviewed the word from a scientific and popular knowledge perspective. |

Review | grebmot knows how to create interesting long humorous comments. See how he commented on a post with the theme “comments”, and the views he proposed regarding the decline in the quality and quantity of comments on steem lately. I find it’s refreshing reading the comment. |
