Art Explained By A Writer: Coke, his wife and Cousin - 1782

wakeupkitty -

It promised to be a good day. Plans were made to improve life and I didn't only tell how I wanted it to be but even made a drawing. From a young age, I loved to be a garden architect and everyone said I was super creative and inspired by my ideas. After many years of making others feel unique with my designs, it was time for me.
After some words with my husband, we invited his cousin to look at what I had in mind, a real masterpiece, since unlike hubby Daniel knew exactly what was possible and most of all it we could afford it.

D'Ewes Coke, his wife and his cousin Daniel Coke - 1782

Let's sit in the back, Daniel said, so we went outside during teatime and enjoyed the weather with a view of the house and garden.

It always had been this way, started my husband.

I wish he didn't behave like an old man, and be for a change a bit more flexible. I will not say he's not good for me but whatever I suggest, like, create or plan.. he is always against it. Everything gives him stress and he wants to keep it as it is which is impossible if you want to grow the least thing you can do is go with the flow. If I look at him gesturing, pointing with his finger I..
I could hit him or actually, not I wish we never met.

We drank tea and tea and more tea, they wanted sandwiches, snacks and cookies and tea and tea again and it took extremely long before Daniel finally looked at my plan.

Aha, uhu..hmmm, mmmm.

I had no idea what that meant and I wish I had never invented the man who seemed to ignore me and only listened to what hubby had to complain.

I couldn't help I yawned and yawned again. The talk went on and on and all I wanted was to go to bed. The sun was out of sight and I felt cold and couldn't help shivering.

Sorry, I said as I stood up lifted my dress and looked at the brothers, it's time for me to go. Sorry, but I know enough. You men do just as you like and are wasting my time.

Let me walk you to the house, Daniel said, he ignored his brother and the fact he was the cousin as he hit me with the papers on my bottom.

Come on girl, let's go. Don't worry it's a great idea and I am sure that your husband finds a way to make ends meet.
