Hi friends,
I am Ujunwa Okereke. I am from Abia State but I base in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I obtained my degree in Biochemistry from Abia State University, Uturu. I am currently a teacher in a school in Akwa Ibom state and that is how I got to know about steemit.
Sometime last year, I did observe my colleague always taking pictures every day at place of work and I was curious about what he does with those pictures. If he post them on Facebook. So I asked him on one occasion what he uses the pictures for and he mentioned STEEMIT.
I have never heard of that name before and so I got more curious and inquired about what Steemit is. He tried to explain a lot to me and I actually did join steemit in April and then my phone was in a bad condition and I could not start immediately.
Well, I don't really have knowledge about the crypto space until i came in contact with my friend @Johnmitchel who inspired me to use my writing skills to my advantage and as well as to impact my world and myself. He has been encouraging me to take my first step in writing because I felt very discouraged, I didn't understand a thing about steemit, because it looked difficult .
Well One thing i find interesting to do aside my job as a teacher is to write. Imagine writing inspirational stories that will be of great help to everyone as it meets them at the state of their mind.
It was always my desire to be part of a family like this that will help me to be a better version of myself and i promise to put in my best to ensure that the untold becomes aware of the steemit platform so that more lives could be affected positively by their inputs.
I wish to start up this journey now as i learn, unlearn and become charitable to the less around me.
