Hello Steemians and Art lovers,
I hope you're all observing a great day?
Firstly, I would like to apologize to you all for not being online like I ought to lately. I've been so overwhelmed with a lot as an artist offline lately. I hope my apology is accepted?
I am genuinely impressed by the increase in the number of entries we had this time around and yes Drawing a fruit with Scribbles is quite tricky and you all managed to pull through with beautiful attempts. You all are winners trust me! 💐
By the entries I could tell that lots of you understood my explanations from the lesson and that really got me impressed and motivated to even teach and explain more.
@henryclive
@henryclive has grown to be an artist with so much potential with scribbling. He did mapped out his spotlight areas so well he also did fine justice to his shading and distribution of values. I'm so pleased!
@rashid001
As usual Rashid delivered a very beautiful and solid drawing. I love his shaing and the sense of contrast he was able to achieve but then, he didn't take his time to map out his spotlight areas as taught in the lesson.
@betsay
Betsay's Scribble strokes/lines are really interesting and the shape she gave her apple is very appealing to the eyes. She also have a very night shading strength and the depth in her shading is quite impressive but then, he use of contrast isn't so convincing and she didn't map out her spotlight areas as highlighted in the lesson.
@stef1
Looking at Stef's Drawings, one could easily say that she's quite an organized person with the way she coordinate her line and even takes her photographs. Her piece is a very beautiful one but then it doesn't carry so much depths that could have allowed it to possess a very convincing sense of contrast.
@jiva34
With no doubts, Jiva has really improved with his use of lines and expressive strokes. It's a very interesting piece but then, the spotlight areas weren't defined well and the composition doesn't have much depths. He should have shaded the darkest areas so dark for us to see.
@joslud
Joslud's use of green pen brought about some nostalgic feeling towards the actual colour of some apples but then, the shape he drew isn't convincing enough to pass as an apple but his Scribble lines are so beautiful.
@wakeupkitty
Kitty posted lots of entries but I couldn't enjoy them cause the photographs weren't so good. Although she had beautiful digital entries too but the lesson says Pen on paper only. I hope to see more beautiful attempts from her with time.
I say a big congratulations to you all as you're all gradually becoming confident with scribbles and it's just a matter of time, you shall master it!
