Here are the steps on how I did the portrait.
I drew my grid lines and made my sketch then started shading it gradually. I started working with the face. I was very careful. Since the portrait is small and use my tombo mono zero eraser to erase lights, highlights and fine lines, making it real and accurate. everything went well. This is one of my portrait that is done with charcoal powder. As usual I love detailing my drawing well. I love it when my fans, client or admirers say "WOW" when they see the finishing of my portrait, so I went back and painstakingly brought out those details on the cloth, making it look so real.
I painstakingly did all that just to make my work look so real, as a professional artist that I am. Just go through the progress shots and don't forget to leave a comment for me. Cheers.
