What does gender equality entail, and what are the advantages?

Gender equality is a very beautiful idea, through the implementation of this idea we can work towards the progress of our society, our country.

Wherever there is discrimination and inequality between men and women, progress is impossible. Half the population of the whole world is women, and hence it is called half the population.

Earlier in our country there was patriarchal, male-dominated thinking, but gradually this thinking was changed and women of the society were given equal status in work, education. And today women are giving their best contribution to the all-round development of the society by standing shoulder to shoulder with men.

Now women have been given the opportunity to participate equally in every field of the country. Rather, in our country, a law has been made to reserve them in all the institutions of the country. Now the participation of women is not ignored in any field.

Is gender equality crucial for all people, not just women?

Yes, gender equality is important not only for women but also for other people of the society, which includes the third gender. In all countries, due to physical defects, the third gender was looked down upon in the society, but due to social pressure and government policies, now no one can ignore them.

They will also be provided the same opportunities and benefits that are given to men and women. And now the government has made strict laws against those who look down upon them and discriminate against them. Now in our country, the third gender is also living with full respect.

What are your thoughts on gender equality, specifically concerning the circumstances in your country?

In my opinion, we should give full rights and respect to all genders, they should get participation in every work of the country and society.

Our government is very committed in this regard. Just a few days ago, a law has also been passed for the participation of women in the Parliament and in the state assemblies.

Even now, women and third gender have a fair share in the parliament of my country. In all the fields of our country, whether it is the field of education or sports, women are coming forward and earning their name. In my country, special laws have been made to protect the interests of women.

How to educate our children to understand this issue?

We should teach our children to respect women from the beginning. If possible, they should study in co-education, because this way they come in contact with girls and women and understand their feelings well.

If a boy studies in a boys-only school, then he has a misconception about girls and that boy does not understand the mental state of girls. We should also educate our children about good and bad from the beginning at home.

We should openly exchange ideas with children on every subject, so that no frustration or bad thoughts develop in their minds about anything.

A family in which all the parents and children spend some time together and listen to each other and understand each other is a happy family.

And the children of that family do not face problems of gender discrimination in the future.
