Hello dear Steemians,

For this weekend we decided to go for little trip to the South of England, that is very famous of its beaches and mild climate.

Many years ago when we wanted to come to UK and were looking for a place where to settle we thought that should be a coast. You can't imagine that I have sent more than 20 applications to the different cities but all were on the coasts: South were preferable, because the connection to Europe were closer and also it is warmer there. The same time West of England and Cornwall was also one of the favorites. After that was Eastern coast but we did not think about Scotland initially because it was very North and of course, rough climate.

Nevertheless, I never received any invitation for Interview in South cities, it was one South West but also Wales and that was the place where were have chosen.

Now after we have seen Wales and Scotland but also visited Cornwall we wanted to see how it is in South of England and one of the busy Hospital is located in Poole. Of course, we were coming not because of Hospital but wanted to see around. Especially, I heard from many of my colleagues that there are many tourists from Europe and summer it is really crowded. The property at the coast is approximately £3 Mio so not many can effort such great area to live.

Poole Beaches

First, we decided to take a car from London and it is about 2-3 hours depending on traffic, when we arrived it was still sunny and warm, approximately +18C that is for us Scots are absolutely high summer temperature.

First what we have seen is that board about the beaches and the place where we were is called Sandbanks, this is a neighborhood in Poole, very famous for its crystal clear water, that I have not seen in places in UK I visited till now. Actually I was told that on Isle of Skye there are also such clear and turquoise colour water too, but this is also a place on our to do list.

The Sand was very fine and almost white, that reminded me the sand in Netherlands.

As tou can see this is a notice board with a little map but also as coincidence we have two lifeguards on our photo. The beach os under their radar and that is good to know that you will be rescued if necessary.

When you look around you can see many people on beach but also there are few swimming the water temperature was also according the notice on board +18C, therefore, we saw some your people sailing and also kids playing and swimming.

We did not think about the possibility of swimming because did not expect such warm water therefore no swimming suit.

Few pictures to show you the beauty of sky and reflection of water.

Hope you enjoy it like we did.
