Cooking tip: Buns with carrots and onion

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to share my experiment from today when I decided to use a recipe for the carrots that we grown in our raised bed. We did not expect that it will be so good and we have so much of carrots. Now the last rest of 400 grams I decided to search for a food that we can use all of this amount of carrots and found this one. I will tell in advance the result was great and delicious :)
To start up our preparation I decided to do dough and first of all I got milk about 300 ml
One table spoon of sugar
I then got flour about 444g.
7g of dry yeast.
3 table spoon of vegetable oil
Then you mix eveyrhting and do it till eveyrhting becomes well mixed, smooth dough.
The time for carrots, I used an electric chopper in order to make small pieces of carrots, the machine needs just a minute for the work.
One you have carrots ready, it is time for onion, I just had a half of onion, that I cut in small pieces and then fried them in wok. Once onion tunred into goldish colour I added carrots. Then added about 30 ml water and cooked them under lid on small fire.
The dough is cut into small round balls that is spread flat and I added the mixed filling carrots and onion.
After that we need to seal the edges and then to turn them over and to put on back tray that is covered with backing paper.
- The when preheated cooker is ready you just baked it by 180C for 15 minutes and they are golden colour, ready for your cuppa. It was my first time of baking this filled buns but it was very successful and delicious.*
If you are interested, just try simple, easy and the ingredients are very cheap (especially if you grow own carrots :)
