As the Steemkids & Parents community, we have social responsibility and charity responsibilities as well. This community was founded as a charity community to support kids, and various charity projects were carried out in the past. With the introduction of the @steem.humanity project, this community will continue to fulfill its responsibilities towards the children.
✅ As announced here we are willing to go for it.
Children are close to our hearts; therefore, it was a no-brainer for us to start this project when we saw the suffering amongst the Nigerian children. We can't close our eyes to the suffering of children. We would like to get the support of anyone else who would like to put smiles on the faces of the kids. It will be worth all efforts.
✅ Another responsibility of the Steemkids & Parents community is socially. This is to say that we love good things, and we will always want to support them where possible. The Nigerians are having their national meetup on the 30th of this month. The community has decided to support the meetup with 500 steem. This will go a long way to help care for the expenses that will be incurred.
✅ The moderators are another set of people to appreciate for their hard work. Hence, depending on what we have at hand, they will be shown a little appreciation.
To enable us to fulfill the needs and support as set out above, the Steemkids & Parents community account will be turned off for one week. This will help us make this vision a reality—because no child should go to bed hungry or fall behind in their education.
We remain deeply committed to pioneering positive change in our community and are hopeful that the Steemit team will understand and support this decision. Our dedication to making a difference is unwavering, and we genuinely hope this step will align with the values we all share for fostering growth and empowerment not only in this community but on Steemit.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnersh
