Review our saree factory, and saree making cost calculation.

solaymann -

A business is run on a regular and regular basis. I see workers and manual labor as the key to our business. There are only seven workers in our factory. At the same time four more employees and one engineer exist to run the factory. All together the number of workers in our factory is 16 people. It's a small business. Because now less than 25 workers work. Basically the establishments employing less than 25 workers are known as small scale industries. Today I reviewed our factory. Which I will share with you.

All the machines in the factory are driven by electric AC motors. Each machine is delta connected. These motors have very high RPM. Anyway the motor is driven and a machine is driven through the belt along with the motor. I have eleven saree making machines in our factory. Here it is possible to produce three to four sarees per day from each machine. All in all, on an average, 35/40 sarees can be produced daily. Currently every machine in our factory is active. But right now a lot of capital is needed because it is the dam season. Maybe business will pick up soon.

Our workers here work quite regularly. A worker is able to operate two machines daily. Here a worker is able to produce at least seven sarees by operating two messes. A Bangladeshi gets Tk 85 as remuneration for producing a sari. In that case, if seven sarees are produced, a worker will get a daily wage of 595 Bangladeshi taka.

So in this case a rough calculation means that the daily salary of a worker is around BDT 600. I have presented the current steem price below.

Wages of daily laborers600 bdt25 steem

Operating the machine is very easy. Because there is not much physical work here. Basically the work of the workers is to repair the machine if there is a fault and the thread is torn.

Our sarees are made from very unique yarns. Our sarees are made from high quality cotton yarn. Sarees made of cotton are very durable and comfortable. Our sarees are famous as one of the products of Bangladesh. Last year our saree got registered as Global Indication (GI) product in the world market. It is a pleasure that our sarees are exported to many countries outside the country.

The main material used to make sarees is yarn which is very unique. Sarees made with eighty count yarn are more sophisticated. Check out the patterned yarns for sarees we have made below. Basically a design is made with it.

Notice the few bundles of yarn in my hand. Sarees are embroidered by them. All the embroideries done on the saree are automatic. Another machine is set above the machine for doing embroidery. Due to which embroidery does not take much time to complete. Embroidery work is done while running. By observing the picture below you can guess how the embroidery design is done. Basically, this design is done in a very subtle way. Here two skilled engineers work very delicately to do the embroidery. Once the embroidery design is set it lasts for months. The embroidery design is changed as per requirement. If you want to change the embroidery design, you have to pay at least 10,000 Bangladeshi taka.

The cost of each saree we make is listed below, Hope you get an idea about the cost of making a saree.
