Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.
While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.
Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.
Today 16/12/2024 I share this capture.

I went to sleep past the usual late hour last night, this happened because of taking a look around the Christmas event. Falling asleep was not a problem, which surprised me due to the stress, it also was just about warm enough. The weather this morning changed to being bright, a little cloudy but still not a lot of sun, it was just about comfortable this morning temperature wise. The heating as been on more often and for longer meaning I'm just seeing money burning itself away. I only woke-up to my my scheduled alarm, this is what I want and I hope to stop doing this waking up 1 or 2 hours prior which as been happening on and off. I have been resting a lot past the alarm lately, this is likely because of the cold, a seasonal issue I guess. This morning was not a struggle to get out of bed, but only because I decided I will rest all I want, I'm doing this for around 2 weeks on days where possible and this is now day 8. I didn't want to start because it was cold out of bed but mostly because I wanted to give myself all the rest I needed to see if this will help me. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. I managed twice this month to do a 24 hour fast, it's been recommended to me to try and do this twice monthly. This is to fight off colds, flu and viruses from the body or so it is clamed, however this is difficult to prove even for myself but did notice a lot of unwell people around me and I haven't caught anything yet so who knows. But I won't be doing this again today as I don't think I'm at a place now where that can help me but I could be wrong. There was no meeting with friends today because they were feeling poorly and I wanted to get other things done, like drying and doing more laundry. With some of that out of the way it was time to sort out things for Christmas, I think I have everything I need but putting presents together and writing cards is unfortunately not going to get done by it's self🙄. I still went online to meet with friends, like I expected half showed up, well that's a bit of a lie, everybody did show up in the end but didn't take part. While it looked like progress wasn't much we do have to consider the late start and what was achieved during this shorter session I know it will help us nicely next time. I want to try and get one of those small work-outs done but had no chance of that if I wanted to get the most rest possible. After I went for dinner, I didn't check-in with my father as it was already too late, and lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. I really hope that Steem moves away from "the middle" either go up further or go back down, because where it is now it makes things difficult on making a range of decisions. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. But I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. Regardless I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional. If you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Today's Picture
As for the picture I share today it's a surprise treat from work, the superiors brought a few sweet treats for everybody celebrating good work and moving on to the summer season. Yes that right the summer season as among the treats were these chocolate Christmas cupcakes with sprinkles. Sure you find a lot of these mostly during Christmas but people also purchase them for celebrating parties or occasions at any point of the year. I admit it's surprising how nice these cupcakes are because they are on the cheap side, above are the snow cupcakes and if I remember correctly these are strangely not as nice the better tasting ones are the chocolate ones. The snow ones for me often taste too dry compared to the chocolate ones. Some people definitely don't like these cupcakes but this is often because people tried the snow ones before eating a chocolate cupcake. Regardless these are fresh and still in their protective box carrier, I find that from a distance this picture offers a better Christmas festive perspective compared to up close.
