Spring has sprung….. or has it?
Phoenix, Silvertop’s “Grand-dog”, decided to take HIS human up to the snow line………while Silvertop headed into BEAR county Lol!☺️

Before I headed out for today’s hike, I glanced at the indoor wall thermometer………
61 degrees Fahrenheit on the main floor of our house!😮
Nope….. Silvertop’s not building a fire on May 31 Lol!🤣
More round bales decorated the fields in the valley below, yes it must be spring……….
Well technically, it is Summer Lol!😎
It can stay this way all Summer, no air-conditioning, no sweating, just a cool breeze blowing through the Aspen trees!😊
Just like Colorado, Washington State has Aspen trees in the higher elevations.
If you look at the second to last photo, on the right side you will see a “Stand” of Aspen trees!
One of the world’s largest living organisms, is an Aspen forest in the Gunnison National Forest!
It stretches from Crested Butte Colorado, over the mountain pass to Aspen for many miles !😊
Every tree is connected underground, it is considered one living organism!😲
Listen…….. Can you hear that?
The Native Americans called these trees Quakies, because they trembled in the breeze!“ 😊
An impressive sight, and sound !🤗
Silvertop paused……..zipped up his sweatshirt, and just took in a refreshing Northwest Mountain day!🤗
