Liz has been filling in for a vacationing co-worker. She was finally a “Free bird”, so we were hiking extra early, to compete the extra long “Buckhorn Loop!”🤗

The three of us circled the top of the ridge, and that’s when Silvertop made a detour………😇
The Ladies haven’t hiked this long of a hike in a while, so they continued onward up the main trail.

Up where the Ladies were hiking, it was cold but sunny…………..
As I hiked down Soaring Eagle, it started to snow!
“Corn snow”, hard ice crystal snow!
I had to stop and take in the view!
This is why I fell in love with the Mountains!☺️
I guess I am very blessed to have a Lady that is also drawn to the high country!🥰
Winter’s can be tough living in the Mountains!😮

I “Double Time” hiked the next quarter of a mile to catch up with the Ladies!😅
“ Liz I needed to take a few photos, and then it started snowing! I had to shovel several miles of deep snow, to hike my way back up hill Lol!”😇
