It was Eid day after the ending of holy month Ramadan. This is my 18th Eid day without mom and family. As I mentioned that I checked in a reputed ladies hostel for 10 days during the Eid festival holidays. Now it doesn't hurt much like before and I find good people around me to be happy.
Woke up late and talked to my niece and sister over phone for greet them on Eid festival. I brushed my teeth and washed my hands, face and feet before going for breakfast. The hostel served a posed egg with two flat oily breads, I better call them paratha and the sweet traditional vermicelli dessert, we call it Shemai.
Ate all my breakfast and took an extra paratha too because I take three most of the time to be full. The traditional sweet dish Shemai on Eid was really very delicious but I can't take more sweets and I was satisfied with the amount they were served.
After finishing breakfast I need to prepare coffee so I took hot water from the water dispenser. I prepared two cup of coffee and my roommate was my coffee mate there on Eid day. After having coffee I was feeling energetic so decide to do my regular job using laptop and finished my tasks earlier.

It was almost 12 when I was done with my work and shut down my laptop. I took shower and wore new cloths that I bought few days ago of Eid and it was just a new t-shirt and trouser. This dress was cheap as I spent only 300 BDT (Approximately 9.5 steem and 3 USD) and it was bought as summer cloths.
It is a tradition that we wear new clothes on Eid occasions and most of the people buy gorgeous and expensive dress to look great and show off their good dressing sense. Kids mostly enjoy the tradition and get excited for having new cloths, shoes and other accessories.
My dress were cheap but it was new so I followed the trend of Eid occasion somehow! Eid day means happy day and I was happy because I had mental peace, wellness and good foods to eat. After shower I called my roommate to join me in the lunch and she got ready for it.
Our lunch was delicious because it was my favorite beef curry with polao rice. They also served tomato slice, lemon slice and cucumber slice and I gave my cucumber slice to my roommate as she was dieting hard these days and skipping yummy foods that people like me love to eat.

Enjoyed the lunch and need to have some rest before I go out for have some good time with my favorite foods. It was a self date lol. I had a nap in the afternoon and I got ready to go out in the evening.
I went to a nearest fast food restaurant and ordered my favorite burger and cone ice-cream. I bought 10 packs of instant coffee mix powder and total spent 210 BDT (Approximately 6.5 steem and 2 USD).

The burger and ice-cream made me feel like I was full for dinner but I took my dinner after 9:30pm when I was a little hungry. I had a good walk in the evening on eid day and I saw people wearing gorgeous dresses on the road. People were enjoying in a group and I've no group because I prefer being alone.
After dinner it was my daily routine following time so I brushed my teeth and took facial care before going to bed. I felt blessed as always because Almighty Allah giving me wellness, financial support and freedom and countless blessings in my life. Special days should be saved as diary and this is the diary blog where there I'm saving these good memories.
