I have come to attend. There is an excellent professor here who is explaining us all these things in a very good way and especially about herbal he is a great sage who knows all these things. QNo1 Recipe Creation: Create a meal or recipe using at least 3 herbs which are commonly found in your area and explain the health benefits of each herb in the recipe.

In this sauce, Mint, ginger, and turmeric all go into the preparation with as the base ingredient common with the first preparation.

Because turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties it is said to reduce inflammation in the body, thus reduce the incidence of diseases like arthritis, heart diseases and cancer.

It is also said that curcumin helps in improving the brain function and can prevent neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzeimer’s : it boosts the levels of BDNF protein. Also, turmeric has benefit for the functioning of the liver and it helps in stimulating the production of adequate bile for digestion – which helps to reduce bloating. Consequently, including Turmeric in your diet may boost the immune system and overall wellbeing and when adding Black Pepper it aids in increasing absorption of Curcumin.

2. Ginger

Ginger is a common spice with a sharp, hot taste, and which is scientifically known to have numerous benefits to the body. Popularly used to soothe the stomach and reduce, if not eliminate nausea, it is thus very relevant for use and handy in treating indigestion, motion sickness or morning sickness. Ginger has active components called gingerols and shogaols and these have clinical effective dose anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

It wasn’t until the time came that people realized that herbage and aromatic plants are not only useful in the preparation of foods but also have numerous healthy attributes to them. Here, I explore five common herbs: I bought fresh leaves of mint, coriander, freshly grated ginger, finely chopped onion, and minced garlic from a farmer’s market nearby my residence. These herbs are flexible, every single plant has its own taste and is used in different specific dishes.

1. Mint (Mentha)

Identification: It is quite easy to, identify mint leaves by their bright appearance and oval ,form as well as a cool scent. Subsequently, if they are rolled between the fingers, they give a cool, fragrant smell.

Uses and Cooking Ideas: This type of substance is filled with antioxidants ,and is more often added to foods to ,give out fresh tastes. They include Mexican, Middle Eastern and South Asian food to mention but a few. Coared leaves can be used in fresh salsas, salads or to garnish a curry. The stems, due to the fact that they have a very concentrated flavor, should be used in marinades and sauces.

3. Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

Identification: Ginger root is irregular in shape, and its outer surface is light brown and covered by a thin layer of thick brownish paper. When you pull off the skin / outer layer it has a white woody / stringy core with a pungent, peppery smell.

Uses and Cooking Ideas: Ginger is used for its anti-inflammatory purposes and as an antiemetic. It is flexible when it comes to the recipes in question, it might be used in both meat dishes and desserts. Ginger root increases the heat levels in stir fried foods, curries, and marinades by using only a small piece of the root. In cooking ginger is used in preparation of cookies and cakes. Ginger is used to prepare teas which are quite warming especially in cases of the flu.

4. Onion (Allium cepa)

Identification: Onions are, cabbagelike and their skin comes as thin brown or white husks and sometimes red. Slicing them ,removes gives off a rather foul smell, enough to make one’s eyes water.

Uses and Cooking Ideas: Such top or root vegetables as onions are used as the main ingredient of various recipes because of their concentrated and pungent taste. They can also be fried, braised, baked or eaten fresh in salads and sandwich. Making caramelised onions intensifies the natural sweet taste of onions, which is great for burger or pizzas toppings.

5. Garlic (Allium sativum)

Identification: Garlic is a plant that produces round bulbs of individual cloves enclosed by a readily removable thin skin called parchment. When peeled and crushed, it has a sharp spicy smell.

Uses and Cooking Ideas: An anecdotal proof of garlic moistening includes its antibiotic as well as immune-enhancement properties. It is employed in almost all the styles of cooking to give extra flavor and smell to meals. Roasted garlic has a mildly sweet nutty potency and has great affinity with sauces, spreads, and dressings.
