So, before I enter the contest, I'd like to clarify what professional skill means. It is the ability that helps you to perform your job effectively. These abilities are a combination of talent, hard work, and time management. These skills are very essential to gain success in any profession. Because without strong professional skills, we can’t reach our goals.

To increase our professional skills, we should first identify the areas we need to improve. This could mean learning new technology, improving communication, or developing better time management habits. Then improve those areas with continuous learning. We are aware that new technologies are being introduced into all sectors daily; so, we must update our knowledge by attending workshops, taking online classes, or reading relevant books.

Training is another important factor in increasing our professional skills. To improve our professional skills we can identify the areas where we need to improve our training. Then we can improve our areas of weakness by seeking input from our supervisor, leader, or teammate. Furthermore, connecting with other employees in our field will help us to learn new things and develop new abilities. We can be a competitive employee by updating on new trends and technologies. Therefore, to develop our professional skills, we need to engage in continuous learning, practice regularly, receive feedback from our superiors, connect with others, and stay updated.

In my country, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) jobs have high demand. My country, Sri Lanka, rapidly developing with technology, therefore businessmen seek IT skills professionals to perform a variety of activities such as software development, cybersecurity, and data analysis. As the corporate sector develops its business field, it seeks people who can manage these jobs. Especially in my country, where business growth is largely influenced by technology, the future of the ICT industry appears to be promising. As employers seek professionals who can solve technical problems, manage databases, and improve online security, I believe the IT profession in my country will have high demand.
