Introduction |

In life, we are face with unexpected challenges that leaves us confused and lost. Through this post, I was able to explore the journey of an ant that is determined to make it out from a complex maze and also stepped into the ants shoes to feel it’s pain, so i could say a soothing words of encouragement to keep it going.
Let me invite @usoro01, @uzma4882 and @drhira for the challenge.
Task 1: LOST |
---|
As I stepped into this place, I thought finding my way out was going to be like a walk in the park, little did I know that each pathway that promises me freedom, spirals me deeper into the maze. My legs hurt so bad but I’ve to keep trying every single turn, hoping to find my way out. I was so sure of myself when I entered here but each corner feels like a déjà vu. I’ve been here for like forever, trapped in dead ends. I don’t think i can go further. if you can hear me , help!!!!
Task 2: letter of hope |
---|
Dear ant
I can hear your cry for help and I feel every pains you’re going through. Believe me when I tell you, I know that frustration of hitting several dead ends because I’ve been in your shoes before. It’s really exhausting when every corner you turn feels like the walls of Jericho is closing in on every step but I never gave up. Even when I reached a place that felt like a point of no return, I kept pushing forward, until I became victorious. Forget the fact that you are small, you’re stronger than you think. Just believe in yourself and keep moving even if the way is unclear. Remember, transformation always comes in the hardest of moments and the growth you seek, comes in disguise as pains. Just look inward and listen to that tiny voice, it will direct your path to victory.
Task 3: Epitaph |
---|
Here lies my hero, one of the most courageous ant I know. A wanderer of maze and a seeker of freedom, who dared to hope through darkness with each tiny step. His soul will keep inspiring those still walking their own path.
Reflection |

Been the protagonist in this scenario, gave me an opportunity of seeing through the eyes of the ant. What it might be thinking at such confuse moments been trapped in a never ending cycle. It was so easy to connect with it because there are some situations I’d find myself so confused and in need of help but I didn’t have anywhere to run to but by the grace of God, It all ended well. Resonating with the ant, made me feel vulnerable but also determined.
In the part two of the task, I felt like reaching out to a friend who is in despair and need all the encouragement and support he can get. These are words I would have love to hear, if I was in such bad condition. I imagined been trapped like the little ant, so, it was easy to express vulnerability and compassion, as if I was talking to a close friend that has been lost.
In this third stage of the story, rather than focusing on the challenges the ant passed through , i celebrated it as a hero and honored the ant’s bravery. I sees it as an exemplary figure to all other ants navigating the same path.
