My 1st Experience at PVR Cinema - One Galle Face

You all know I love watching movies. I usually watch a movie per day these days. I won't be able to watch it on busy days but I usually watch two movies on Saturdays. But the thing is, all I watch is through this 15.6-inch display with crispy audio of my Anker Soundcore Q10 Headset which I was yet unable to review.
I rarely go to the theatre to watch a movie. What I mostly do is download a pirated copy and watch it on my Laptop. It does the job but I miss that experience of a gigantic screen and earful sound.. and also some popcorn.. Since I'm in the internship period, I get some freedom on some days. So I planned to go to watch a movie.
I work in Moragahahena which is a small town in Horana. The thing here is, it's hard to get away from her after 6 30 PM. It's because buses stop their service after that time. And after 6:30, it's not reliable. So I got to get out of Moragahahena before at least 6 PM because where I want to watch the movie is at PVR Cinema at One Galle Face.
Woah woah.. first of all, i must say which movie I selected to watch at PVR Cinema. I was "The Knock at the Cabin" which was directed by M. Night Shyamalan who is very famous for movies that are full of twists. So, I expected this to be a good movie.
I've heard many people saying good things about PVR Cinema halls. So, I wanted to check it out myself. So I left Moragahahena after work early as possible, went to Kottawa, got on Awissawella - Pettah (122) bus, and came to Colombo Fort. When I got there It was around 7 45 already. So I took a Tuk Tuk ride to OGF.
As I heard, PVR Cinema is situated on the top floor and I was right. I was thinking of booking tickets. Since my movie day could change even at the last minute, I didn't book it. And I didn't regret that. It's because there were a very little amount of people to watch the movie. Most people went to watch "Pathaan" which stars Shahrook Khan.
As I went inside the Cinema Complex, I quickly realized that this is not about One Giant Hall. There are a few small Film Halls in the complex. That's a cool idea. If the popularity of a movie drops, screening of that movie can be limited to one hall giving other halls for popular or new movies. It's an advantage for them.
"The Cabin in the Woods " was in Hall No. 04. When I first get there, what I observed was its seats. It's very comfortable. It adjusts perfectly with the body adjustment. And the audio quality is quite good too. The video quality seems good than in most film halls. I think it's because of the small screen size.
You can't bring your own food inside. It should be bought from their stalls. The only bad thing was the movie. I hoped for a twisty movie but there wasn't. I'm hoping to write a review on it sooner. I had a great experience at PVR Cinemas. Hope you enjoy your next movie there..
