Never regret. If it's good, it's wonderful. If it's bad, it's experience |

There are so many things in life we don't necessarily need to regret because most of them do occur for a reason which might even benefit us later. If something bad happens, don't regret much or overthink I because there's a reason for everything that happens in life. Am saying this here because in my country alot of teachers aren't happy at all because the salary they get for their daily service in schools isn't up the level of hardwork they put in their job.
With time I believe my country will change for good and become one of the best countries in the world. Teachers aren't very satisfied at all, I see this st home because my parents are teachers and I saw it in high school, my teachers always complaining that the lack of good job opportunities in the country forced them to start teaching profession and I always feel pity for these people.
To the best of your knowledge, what is effective classroom management, and what does it have to do with planning, implementing, evaluating learning, and utilizing resources optimally? Explain the relationship of each of these points using your language. |

Am a mentor and a president of a particular association in the catholic church I attend, is known as Catholic Altar Servers Association of Nigeria (CASAN). The people in this association in my church are only boys. I'm the current president of this association and I lead my members to the right path through my teachings. The teacher in a classroom is currently the leader of that classroom and this also makes me a teacher to the boys in the association since am their elected president.
We do have lectures twice or once in a week and I try my best to teach them alot of things they need to know, not just things related to the association but other things of life. I mostly teach more during our monthly meetings as is a very official moment for me but I will talk based on the weekly lectures, in this category.
Effective classroom management is known as the overall arrangements and actions related to the classroom at a particular period of time. A place where teaching and learning takes place, has to do with maximum planning because such places follows the process step by step. This is why effective classroom management has alot to with planning, implementation, evaluating learning, and utilizing resources optimally.
How do you go about creating a classroom atmosphere that supports the learning process?, The explanation you give is based on personal experience that did. |

Ok I always try my best to get to the church on Tuesdays and Thursdays which is our days of lectures, on time. Am always there one hour before the actual time which is normally 4pm. Most times when I arrive at the church premises I see some of my students/members playing football and they run to get set for class immediately they see me coming.
Football is the reason most of them come to class early, they love to play alot and I always advice them to minimize the rate at which they play because is not good for them at all as they are no longer babies. I give them time to clean up themselves and receive fresh air outside so that their sweats can dry up, ofcourse when they get home they will take their bath. The boss have been obedient these days and am impressed with them for that.
Immediately their body is calm that's when they all get seated in the other part of the church i use to teach them. I always ensure that they are more than 10 in number before I start teaching. I start my teaching with a motivational talk, they always love when I motivate them and this always give them the opportunity to open their minds to whatever I want to teach them for the day. I start my teaching once I see that majority of them are fully ready to learn.
During the journey of my teaching, I ask few questions and most times I give them questions I believe they can't answer because I haven't taught them about it but I do this to increase the rate at which they think outside the box. I also give them opportunities to ask me questions before I summarize the teachings for the day and dismiss them.
According to your experience and observations, what factors can hinder effective classroom management? Explain why these things are a hindrance. |

Before going to church I always ensure that I plan myself properly and genuinely set up what I will teach the students, morals is something they should be aware of, sometimes I wonder if their teachers in their school teacher them about morals properly because they still don't act according to what they learn in school. Most of them said they even enjoy my teaching more, I guess us also because their school has much crowd and this makes their teacher's not to fully give them the attention they need.
Lack of planning is something that's really bad, infact I see it as a temporary disease of a teacher. If s teacher doesn't plan properly, he/she will make series of mistakes while teaching in the classroom and this will make the students not to have a good learning experience.
Not being punctual to the classroom makes things difficult for the day, if a teacher gets to the classroom late, the students might have even lose interest for that day because most of them will think you aren't coming again. If you finally arrive you will have no choice but to rush the class so as to meet up with the time for closing. If such thing happens, the students will still not have a good learning experience. Students dislike teachers that rush too much.
Being self-centered isn't good at all because as a teacher you don't need to be teaching teaching teaching without asking the students if they have questions for you, or you can't just be writing or dictating notes for them all the time without explaining it properly to them. Students always want the teacher to have their attention.
Effective classroom management has a relationship with the Learning Contract? What do you think about this, explain comprehensively according to your thoughts. |

Yes it does because it will make it a 50:50 proportion, the teacher is satisfied with what he/she taught the students because the teacher made a proper plan for the class and also implemented it the right way after knowing the available resources through their evaluations concerning the situation of the class and also after getting feedback from the students after teaching.
The students on their own part, get the opportunity to have a wonderful learning experience if the teacher does his/her work properly, the sacrifice of the teacher to make sure the students learn properly, is the beginning of the students success in whatever they will be taught. The students on their own part will have to co-operate with the teacher at all cost so that the teaching and learning can be successful.
