I hope so my all steemian friends will be safe and sound by the Grace of Allah Almighty. I am once again here for taking part in the food dairy game contest which is hosted by @steemkidss . So , Today with my lovely steemians I share my food dairy game and a recipe of peas rice. Actually it is the most common dish in my area. As I am from Lahore so it is the favourite and most common dish of lahorians. In this area it is called matar pulao. So , lets start my food dairy game with you guys.

- After my morning prayer and morning walk then I made the breakfast. I made white pratha with omelette. Then I made toast with fry egg and chanas. I also made tea for me. It is all the tasty and delicious breakfast. My white pratha with omelette is one of my favourite. As we all know egg has potential benefits for health. It contain vitamins and minerals. Less in calories. High quality proteins in it.
I enjoyed my breakfast with a big appetite and great relish. Then after breakfast , I cleaned the dishes.
In the afternoon , I made peas rice. Lets come to know how I made this yummiest rice.
Ingredients Required :
- Peas half kg
- Rice one kg
- Tomato and green chilli chopped
- Onions two
- Cumin seeds one table spoon
- Red chilli flakes two table spoons , salt one table spoon (according to taste)
- Garlic paste one table spoon
Step 01 :
- In the beginning I put the pan on fire then I add ghee in it. I add about five to six table spoons in it. Then I left it for heat. Then in that time I cut the onions and add it in the hot ghee. Then mix it and fry it. Fry it for five minutes on medium flame. Then I add garlic paste in it. I mix it and fry it very well.
Step 02 :
- Then when the onions and garlic are well fried then add little water in it. It gives a beautiful smell. Then after that add the mentioned spices in it without cumin seeds.
Step 03 :
- Then mix it well and left it for cook. It required almost five minutes. Then it becomes a paste and then add peas. Fry it for five minutes.
Step 04 :
- Then I add almost three glass of water in the fried peas. I measured the rice in that glass that's why I add three glass of water in it.
Step 05 :
- When the water is heated and started to boiling then wash the rice very well and then add the rice in the water. Then add cumin seeds in it.
Step 06 :
- Then the water is heated and the rice are started to boil. Then check the salt. If it is not according to your salt then add more otherwise there is no need. Then left it for cook. When the rice are cook then cover the lid with kitchens napkin or a piece of cloth. After ten to fifteen minutes the peas rice is ready.
- In the evening I ate rice pudding. It is much delicious and yummiest. It is made of milk , rice and carrots. It is one of my favourites in the sweet. Almost all the people like to eat it.
- In the dinner , we decided to eat the BBQ. We had a delicious BBQ dinner tonight. I made chapati at home for my family. Then I made salad. I cut in salad cucumber , tomato , cabbage , carrots and radish. Then I squeeze a lemon juice on it. There is also a raita (made with yogurt and green chilli and salt). I ate my dinner with a hearty appetite.
