Hello everyone, good evening to you all and welcome back to my blog. I'm so excited to participate in this Learning Challenge.

🥐 Do you think it is important to ferment yeast before using it? What can happen to our bread if we do not activate the yeast and apply it directly to the dough? (1 point)

Yes, it is very necessary to ferment yeast before making bread this is to ensure that the Yeast is still alive and active to leaven the dough because if it doesn't leaven the dough, the bread will not rise. The act of activating the yeast is called proofing.

What happens if the Yeast is not active

If the Yeast is not active, the bread will not rise well thereby leading to dense and heavy bread.

🥐Name and explain the types of yeast and which one is available in your country. (1 point)
