Our plan was to take them to a shop and give them the opportunity to pick necessary items. Also, @saman88 ayya informed us that he can assist the husband of the lady with a job at a construction site.

After meeting the Gram Niladhari, we asked them for a good place to purchase goods. They suggested Sathosa and another wholesale shop called "Sandasiri". We drove to the particular wholesale shop. On the way, we heard that there is another child with the mother-in-law, who lost both her parents.

Once we reached the supermarket we asked them to "ඕන දෙයක් ගන්න". But they were hesitant to do that and asked us to purchase for them. Then Harith started to pick some items for them and put to the cart. Timely they adapted to us and started picking things they need.

We really didn't want to limit them and they purchased dry food, biscuits, spices, sanitary items, and also a few plastic items. They were very hesitant to buy expensive things like coconut oil, but we helped them to buy them.

The young mother picked a doll for her daughter and I picked a bigger one instead of it. මේක දැක්කම පොඩි එක්කෙනා පිස්සු වැටෙයි. Mothers also wanted to purchase some story books but there were no story books at the shop.

Actually, we let them purchase anything they like. They haven't ever purchased this much stuff at once. When it comes to three carts they said "this is enough". Then we moved to a checkout.

When the bill was printed it was a very long bill of 29943 LKR... I think everyone is wondering if this long bill which contains one record for every single item considered one qty. Anyway, we paid half from cash and the rest from the card as it adds 2% for card withdrawals.

They were a bit worried after seeing the bill but really grateful for fulfilling their needs. I must say the cost of things is really high. Last year during our very first charity event we purchased this much of goods just for 10 000 LKR. Damn inflation. With goods, we again went to meet Grama Niladhari and he recorded our details.

Finally, we dropped two ladies at their house. It was a very small space covered with wood. There were two clean-looking dogs too. They thanked us a lot for the help. Thanks to @sl-charity and all the people who put beneficiaries this family can have a good meal for some time.

Before turning back, I took her bank details, if any one interest I can share it too
