The diary game [26-03-2024]/: How I spend my Sunday

Hello there.
Greetings to you all and welcome to my diary post.
I'm writing on how I spend my Sunday. And also every detail that happened on this day.
Dear diary.
I woke up in the morning at 6:30. Carry on with sports which involves push ups, crunches and giggles jumps, planking. This Activities keep me fit and relax my body before I start my day.
After sports. I carry on with some laundry, this early because my day was loaded with activities which I must fulfill before the day runs out. This activity took me like 30 min before I could round up.
After laundry to proceed to take a shower and freshened up as I had church service that morning. I'm done with shower and now I had to take some breakfast as I couldn't tell exactly how much time I will be spending in church and plus I suffer from gastric after prolong hours before meal.
My breakfast was some potatoes and vegetables. Extremely delicious as it looks.
By the time I'm done with breakfast, I hurrily dressed up and then on my way to church. When I arrived church it was already around 9.15 a.m. I was fifteen minutes early before the start time which is 9:30 a. m., but then I took a seat and wait for service to begin.
9:30 a.m. church service had begun, this started with the procession where the pastor and the church elders had to sworn in the cross. This was accompanied by some music from the press team.
Church service began with the reading of the first lesson, and followed by the second lesson. After this, there's some music from the church choir and then the pastor proceeded with the reading of the text for the day.
Preaching was specific on the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem and goes on to explain how he was welcome by spectators and chanting songs of worship and praise while waving palm fronts. Hence it was titled indeed a palm Sunday.
When the pastor was done preaching, the church proceeded with announcements and the rest of the time was left to cast votes for the church new elders for 2024/2025. This was going to take longer than expected and combined with the humid atmosphere. I had to leave early.
Out of church, I took some interesting photos to mark an end for the days service.
I left the church premises when it was already 11:30 a.m , got home and hurrily change as I had to go get some drinks from my friends birthday.
My friend Mr clex was throwing a birthday party for himself and I was in charge of the organizing and MC duties. I had to be there early enough to get things done before others arrived.
I left my house when it was already 4:30 p.m and took off to his place where the venue was holding. When I arrive there, I joined the others in the kitchen see what there had done in my absence. Luckily everything was going on well.
Next, I assigned the boys to arrange the space for the invitees. We made everything ready and then by 5:30 p.m, we started welcoming visitors, as the event was due to start at 6.00 p.m.
By 6.00 p.m, we hard started, gave welcome speech to all invited, and then followed by self introduction. After self introduction, a sister gave us an opening prayer. After prayer, I proceed to introduce our host of honor. Mr clex, the celebrant.
He was wamthly welcome by chanting the happy birthday 🎈🎂 song. He then sang Along with the invitees as I present him his cake. Next, he proceeded with a speech, welcoming everyone present and thanking them for making the effort to be present, wishing everyone a happy celebration and lots of fun as the event proceeds.
After this. One of our elders in the house took the initiative to pop some champaign 🍾 and we all made a toss together and cheese to our brothers new age.
There was a lot to eat and drink, and everyone left the venue satisfied and hopping for more events in the future like this. Infact it was a success and by 10:30 p.m, majority of the population had left already. I stayed be hind with my friend to have a special toss as

It was get late already and I had to leave as well. I finally left at 1:00 a.m the next morning and took a bike home. I arrived roughly in 30 minutes time and immediately took a bath and take a nap.
Dear diary. My Sunday was great, and I'm so happy everything was a success all through the day. I want to use this special time again to say Happy birthday to my brother and friend. Cheers 🥂 to your new age.
