Hello everyone 😻,
TGIF 🎊🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. The weekend is upon us yet again😹. I have had a great day and once again am here to break it down including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. As always thank you for stopping by and let's glide in 💨.
So i started the day with a short morning walk around the neighborhood.
I started off with a few stretching moves before stepping out into the sunny 🌞 street.
Later I was back indoors handling the usual house chores including cooking. Then logged into the trending stories as the day progressed.
My final walk was the sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park 🌲. It was quite refreshing with the cool breeze 🍃 and bright sunshine.
So that was my day, now let's get into the trending stories.
In Europe, France trending as they put up a spectacular opening ceremony in Paris🎉.
At least 10,500 athletes cruised down river Seine, passing by historic Paris landmarks. Pop stars including lady Gaga and Celine Dion put up wonderful performances.
It's gonna be 19 days of action as athletes seek medals😹. I will definitely be watching some of the races including finals.
Not everyone is happy with the Olympics though🙀. The high speed 🚆 train network was deliberately sabotaged. Copper cables cut and fires 🔥 started in a number of locations😿.
It's left passengers stranded in many areas but repairs are underway and everything should be ok by tomorrow💯.
In Gaza, the situation remains the same. At least 22 Palestinians killed as Israel continued it's bombing and targeting of Hamas😿.
Speaking of Israel, PM Netanyahu continued his trip in America, meeting Trump in Florida.
A glimmer of hope as Netanyahu said Israel would send a ceasefire delegation to Rome next week to discuss the end of the war. Lets hope this is true😹.
Still in the US, former president Barack Obama and Michelle have endorsed VP Kamala Harris for the white house. We will definitely see them campaigning for Harris.
Finally in crazy weather, the wild fires 🔥 have continued raging in Canada and California in the US.
Lets hope the affected residents can find some respite from the ongoing situation. Keeping them in my prayers💯.
