Friends, you all are very welcome to my beautiful competition today. I hope you all are healthy. Today I am participating in this competition. I liked this competition. Because I get pleasure from participating in food related competitions. Cooking is my favorite hobby. I like to cook different types of food. Today I am telling you how to make Lentil Rice and Dal Fry Recipe. This is a famous recipe in Gujarat. It is made in everyone's homes and also in weddings. It is easy to make but tastes delicious. We can prepare this recipe at home with less ingredients. This is a meal to be eaten at night. Many people like to eat it in dinner. Many people eat it in the afternoon also. But in our house we eat food prepared from this type of rice at night. This is a food which everyone eats with pleasure.

Rice | 4 cups |
Cumin | 1 tsp |
Onion | 1 |
Salt | 3 teaspoons |
Oil | 2 tsp |

I have taken lentils here to make masoor rice. I had already soaked it in water. We have to chop onion and green chilies. After that we have to pour oil in the cooker. After the oil is hot, we have to add cumin seeds. After that we have to add chopped onion and green chilies and let them fry. Then we have to wash the lentils with water and add them.

After that we have to add water. I have taken four cups of rice here, so I am adding two glasses of water. After that we have to add salt. Some fried onion has to be put on top. We have to wash the rice thoroughly and add it. Close the lid of the cooker. We have to cook till 3 whistles. So in this way the Masoor Pulao is ready here. Now we will prepare dal fry to eat with masoor pulao.

First of all, to make dal, we have to put oil and cumin seeds in a cooker. After that we have to add chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, tomato and green chili.

After that we have to cut the bottle gourd, wash it with water and add it. After that we have to chop green onions and add them. We have to take toor dal in a bowl. Wash it thoroughly with water and then put it away.

Now we have to add red chili, turmeric, coriander, salt and spices, mix well and leave it for a while. After that we have to add water and close the lid of the cooker. We have to whistle till the lentils are cooked. Then we have to open the lid and see. Dal fry has to be prepared in this way. The dal is ready here.
