Today was one of those days this week that things went as planned and all that I planned out where just falling into place. I woke up feeling refreshed and energized,, ready to face the brand new day that God has given me the opportunity to see.
I started my day with prayers of appreciation, I observed a quiet moment with my Creator, I studied God's word then I prayed. After which I went back to sleep for few minutes because it just 5:00am as at when I finished my morning devotion. 50minutes later, I head someone calling Aunty! Aunty! And when I opened my eyes to see who was calling, I found out that it was my little niece that came to wake me up for family morning devotion.
After the family morning devotion,, I turned water from the flask to bath my niece and nephew and I got them set for school. I served them breakfast to eat while I dish their lunch in their lunch box. I carried them to school when they were done eating their breakfast.
I returned home and started my usual morning routine, I started with sweeping and mopping of the house, followed by washing of the dirty dishes in the kitchen. I did some laundry after which I washed the bathroom before going to dry the clothes I washed on the robe inside the compound.
When I returned to the room, I headed straight to the kitchen to eat my breakfast, I was already feeling so weak and hungry. I ate my breakfast then took my bath and went to my room and lied down to rest. That was around few minutes pass 11:00am.
I woke up few hours later, and went to the bathroom to wash my sleepy face🥱, when I returned to the room, I noticed that it was already time to go bring my niece and nephew from school. I went to their school and brought them back home. When we arrived home, I pulled their uniforms and washed it immediately including their school bags.
Around 2:30pm,, I entered kitchen to start preparing food for dinner. And in two hours time, food was ready and served for everyone excluding my Uncle and Aunty who were not yet back from work. After eating with my niece and nephew, I washed the dirty plates we use to eat.
I went to my neighbors apartment and carried my babygirl to our own apartment,, I played and was with together with my little cutie🥰 till 6:30pm. I took pictures and I made a lot of videos of myself and my babygirl. I carried her back home and returned home to bath my niece and nephew because it was already evening.
As the evening rolled down, myself and my friend went out to watch a movie together, the movie was so interesting and it feels so good spending time together with a friend. After the movie, we decided to take a walk back home since the place we went to watch the movie is not far from our house.
We arrived home around 9:00pm. And as soon as we got home, I sat down and reflected on my day,, i was filled with immense joy and contentment for having a fun filled day. I was thankful for the company I had today, being around my niece and nephew all through the day and going out with a friend in the evening remind me of how precious life is, and how important it is to cherish every moment.
Around 11:00pm,, I said my night prayers and was about to sleep when Nepa brought light,, I stood up and snapped few pictures because I love how bright the room was.
After snapping few pictures, I plugged my phone and retired to my bed to have a restful night with the hope of seeing another Brand new day the next morning.
