I am @nirob1613 from #Bangladesh.
How are you all? I hope you are well. I am fine by the grace of Allah Ta'ala. Today, I will participate in the new contest from Traveling Steem brought by the Moderator @benoitblanc. The name of the contest is "NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST | CAPTURING THE NIGHT | WEEK 12". Thank you @benoitblanc for bringing this beautiful contest to us😊. So let's start.
A few nights I went to the market to shop around and buy some shoes. Market atmosphere is always different at night, and I felt it this night too. The flashing of lights, the noise of people and the shouting of shopkeepers seemed to have come to a fair. I also wanted to do photography, so I went out with the camera. There is a different joy in catching the play of lights at night, which cannot be matched in daylight.
At the entrance of the market, a colorful chandelier caught the eye. Its light seemed to remove the surrounding darkness and created an illusion of light. I fixed the camera lens and took a few shots. Then I proceeded to look for a shoe store. While walking, I noticed that people are crowding in front of various shops. Someone has a shopping bag, while someone is busy with a bargain. The smell of steaming pithas wafting from the street food shop next door, which stopped my mind once again. It was also a good subject for photography. In the dim light, the faces of people were coming alive in the smoke.
Entering the shoe store, I saw the smile of the shopkeeper first. It was clear from his conversation and sincerity that he had made a good trade today. He tried to help me by showing me different types of shoes. I still have the camera bag slung over my shoulder. So I was planning to take a closeup shot of the camera with the new shoes. Finally found a shoe that I like. At one point in the bargain, it seemed that there was an added fun to shopping at the night market. Things look better in a light-dark environment.
After buying the shoes, I went out again. The night was quite late, but the crowd of people did not decrease that much. A few young people were sitting and chatting in front of a roadside fast food shop. In one corner a little boy was selling balloons, a childlike glee on his face. I tried to capture these moments in the camera.
Then suddenly I saw a lot of people standing with all their winter clothes for sale. I also noticed a customer in front of his shop. They seemed to be haggling over the stored clothes and looking for more clothes. I also captured this moment on camera.
I boarded a rickshaw on my way back home. The light was painting a different picture with the spinning speed of the rickshaw wheels. It seems that going to the night market is not just shopping, but a journey to find the colors and stories of life. This experience reminded me again, every night has a different story, much deeper than the daylight.
I invited my three friends to participate in this amazing contest. Here the Contest link.👈
