**The Effects of Family Planning on a Nation's Population and its Economy**

Hello friends!
This topic reminded me of so many things and I'm glad it came up. This way, we can learn how to plan our future.
What do you understand about Family Planning? |
---|
Family planning to my best of knowledge is the choice of how many kids a family wants and at what interval they want it and to determine the spacing of their pregnancy. It can also involve addressing infertility. Family planning may lower the chances of health problems during pregnancy and can help stop the spread of sexually transmitted infections.
There are several ways family planning can be done; through contraception, counselling, and natural methods. I had a friend who went for an implant but unfortunately, she developed an injury at that spot and she had to remove it even before the time duration.
Family planning is a good way to reduce the numbers of pregnancy that are not wanted and instead of involving in an abortion, family planning is best to handle the situation. It helps women find their feet and participate more in societal activities. Being educated on how family planning works gives couples access to free sex.
Do you think countries should regulate their population using Family Planning? How do you think that will help them? Explain |

The main goal of family planning is to reach a situation with low birth and death rates. This is important because high fertility contributes to population growth. In places where more babies are born than people die, the population grows quickly.
This is common in many African countries. While the growth rate differs by country, the global population is increasing by about 1.5% each year. If this trend continues, the world population could reach 12 billion by 2050.
With the population rising quickly, the demand for food, education, employment, and healthcare is also on the rise. Many African countries have high. As a result, it is increasingly challenging for these nations to supply sufficient food, schools, jobs, and health services for their current populations. So I strongly think that countries should regulate their population using family planning.
Do you encourage family planning? Tell us your reasons |

Oh yes! It's important if couples can't control pregnancy. What need will it to a child that was born into the world to come suffer. When parents know that they cannot provide for more than three children, why then do they go ahead to have five children. Some of them would tag it a mistake but unfortunately, it's not a mistake rather a consummated pleasure.
Family planning also helps to regulate the population in the society. When we have less population and have more resources, it's better than having few resources and large population.
Tell us about some of the methods or types of family planning you know or have heard of |

I've mentioned earlier about these methods; we have the contraception, counselling, and natural methods.
Contraception: When we talk about contraception, it involves pills, vaginal rings, implants, condoms and sterilization for male and female.
Counseling: This involves having a section with the right people involved.
Natural method: This here has to do with total abstinence.
