Never ending questions of Children

At times these little brats can be very tough on you. My nephew who was with me for the last few days back in India, did give me a tough time. Now that I do not have any small children at my place, having someone come and stay with me is challenging. His questions were like never ending, and I would tell him, that Shayan now you have to sit quietly and no more questions....hehehe. His curiosity is at a galloping speed, he would switch from one topic to another and ask me the weirdest questions that I could imagine of replying. And if I would not respond to him, he would question me back asking why I do not know the answer. And the one questions never stops at one, it goes from one to another and another and becomes a never-ending conversation.

I have a full-time home care taker back home in India, so my little nephew asked me, once I am gone, who would be my care takers boss. I told him that he does not need a boss, he knows all his work and does it. So little Shayan's next question was that if that's the case why am I bossing on him now. I told him, that I am not bossing, I am giving him instructions. The next question was ready after that, so in that case when I am not around, who will give him instructions. I told him I will do it over the phone. Little Shayan then asked me, what if I am not able to reach him on the phone, will he not do any work.......and it kept going on and on, till the time I had to tell him that I am not going to answer any more to him and I want to sleep....hehehe. My nephew is a very fijjity boy. Since we do not give him any mobile phones or allow him to watch T.V for more than one hour, we have to find ways and means to keep him engaged. And he loves to talk, so he is constantly up with some or the other conversation. It is difficult to keep up with his energy.

Little children are fun to have around in our space, they can drive you nuts. Even when my son was small, he asked many questions all the time. At times I had no answer for them. Now that my Son is a grown up boy, I tell him in fun sometimes that I have to take all that revenge for the way he tortured me with his questions and he just laughs and tell me, because I asked so many questions, I am intelligent today.

You definitely need a lot of patience making conversations with them, their imaginations are running everywhere and they are curious to know about everything in life, whether it is science, physics, chemistry, love, life, relationships...... or whatever you say they want to know it all. But all said and done, their innocence is to die for, they can steal away our hearts with their chirpiness.
